When can you start?
As soon as our schedule allows. Ebenezer starts as soon as he is available, so the sooner you call for a free estimate, the sooner we can put you on the calendar.
What is your exterior painting process?
We power wash first, then check the stucco and wood for repairs, then mask the windows and floors, and only then paint. The order matters, and Ebenezer explains it to you before he starts.
What is your interior painting process?
The same care as an exterior, without the power wash: check the surfaces and repairs, mask the floors and windows, then paint by spray or brush depending on the job.
What paint do you use?
Dunn-Edwards and Sherwin-Williams. Both were chosen for their quality and finish, and because they are fair for the value you receive. We do not cheap out on quality.
Where did you learn the trade?
Ebenezer learned at established painting companies, at trade school, and through painter associations. He has 12 years of experience: his first painting job was in 2013–14, and he went independent in 2016–17.
How long does a job take?
A home takes between one and ten days. Commercial projects run from weeks to months, depending on their size. Ebenezer will give you a clearer picture at your free estimate.
How do you price a job?
By the hours the work takes and how difficult the preparation is. Two homes that look alike can need very different preparation, so Ebenezer looks at your project. The estimate is free.
Do you spray or brush?
Both. It is chosen project by project, and your preference comes first.
What equipment do you use?
Power washers, sprayers, brushes, rollers, ladders, drop cloths, extensions and masking materials. The right tool for each surface, and everything protected that should be.
Do you enjoy the work?
He loves it. In Ebenezer’s words: “Paint to me is an art.” He loves the moment a home is transformed, and he has a good eye for color.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, financing is available. Ask about it when you request your free estimate and Ebenezer will explain how it works.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes. If something is not right, Ebenezer comes back and repairs it. Coming back to make it right? We never have a problem with that.
Are your estimates free?
Yes. The estimate is free, and Ebenezer explains the steps involved so you know exactly what you are deciding on.
Do you work weekends?
If the project requires it, yes.
What services do you offer besides painting?
Stucco, drywall and wood repair, wood staining, epoxy floors, waterproofing and HOA maintenance, as well as commercial work.
Are you safety certified?
Yes. Ebenezer holds OSHA 30, OSHA 10, scaffold and CPR-AED certifications, and 22 certifications in all.
Who manages my project?
Ebenezer does, personally, from sourcing the materials to finishing the job. You deal with the person who does the work.
Is my job too small?
No job is too small. Every client is important and receives the same treatment and the same quality. One bathroom is a job we take seriously.
What if I want to change the scope in the middle of a job?
Absolutely, it’s possible. Ebenezer keeps clear boundaries: he will tell you the steps the change involves and how it affects the job, and then the decision is yours.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Ebenezer has held California contractor licence 1120008 since 2024, classification C-33, Painting and Decorating. You can look it up yourself on the CSLB website. He is pursuing his Drywall and Framing licences.
How much experience do you have?
Twelve years. Ebenezer worked for established painting companies, went to trade school and joined painter associations before going independent.
